Having always been drawn to texture, detail & rhythm as it appears in both the natural world and the man made, my eye seeks out repetition in the tangible as well as in the light and shadows.  The whole is of no importance to me – I see the world as pattern and I document what appears to me.

This visual seeking has been a spark smoldering in the back of my mind for as long as memory.  It continues to evolve as I explore visions through the lens of my camera, in a two-dimensional, graphic medium.  Often stripped to just shades of black and white, the rhythms appear in a more pure and unencumbered format, as images portray the tapestry of lives throughout the world, I invite you to share my journey.

Judith Lederman Guajardo is a Chicago native, who has practiced commercial interior design and architecture for more than twenty-five years.  Today, travel, photography and family shape the passions of her life.
